Overview:

All staff members in the EEE department are well qualified with postgraduate qualification specialized in the area of Power systems, power

electronics and applied electronics.

Head of the department who is a Doctorate has put more than 10 years of service in Teaching field.

Two staff members in EEE department have completed their PhD research in special areas.

We have well experienced laboratory instructors.

All the above laboratories are equipped with sophisticated electrical machines, Electrical and electronics instruments as per Anna University and AICTE norms.

Achievements

Achievements of staff:

      EEE department has got dedicated staff members who are putting maximum efforts to make the students achieve good results. Individual

attention is given to each students. Every 15 students are provided with one proctor staff member as care taker.

     Staff members have participated in seminars, National conference, and presented papers. Four staff members have participated a workshop

program in the area of Power Quality in Windmills.

  Students of EEE department have shown excellence in studies and other extra curricular activities like National conference, Inter college sports,

NSS activities.

Electrical and Electronics is one of the fast growing engineering branches. The Curriculam and syllabus contains many important subjects like
Electrical Machines, Electro magnetic fields, Measurements and instrumentation, Power electronics, control systems, Biomedical instrumentation,
power system control, power system analysis, High voltage engg, Special machines, Transmission and distribution, Generation Conservation and
utilization of electrical energy etc .All electrical industries are modernized now a days. Most of the modern process industries use programmable
logic controller for conducting various sequence of operation.
