Rajas Colleges-Pharmacy

S.A.Rajas Pharmacy College was founded in 1987. The Bachelor of pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree course is approved by the Government of Tamilnadu in G.O.Ms.No.961. Health and family welfare (ME-II) department dated 28/06/1993 and affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University vide proceedings No./-256112/affin 1 (2)/93 dated 03/05/94 and recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India. No.17-1-2000/PC/18896-19274 dt.16.3.2000.

The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) course is approved by the Government of Tamilnadu in G.O.Ms.2370 dated 17th December 1987 and recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. This course is approved by all India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) in their order F.No.215/BIII/RC(M)/93 dated 17th April 1994. Latest pharmaceutical Machineries required for the preparation and production of drugs are installed. The College Library has a valauable collection of books on pharmacy. A wide range periodicals in Pharmacy makes the library highly instructive to the students. The Faculty members are outstanding in their respective fields. The Institution offers D.Pharmacy course of two years duration to HSC/PDC and B.Pharmacy degree course of four year duration to HSC/Pre Degree students with Science subjects.
