The Indian Engineering College (TIEC), Vadakangulam was established in the year 1984 with the sanction from Govt. of Tamil Nadu and the approval of AICTE, New Delhi. TIEC is one of the distinguished and leading institutions offering a number of UG, PG courses in Engineering, Technology, Computer Application and Business Administration.
            The College is run by Selvam Educational and Charitable Trust and administrated by its founder chairman Dr. S. A. Raja and chairman Dr. S. A. Joy Raja. The primary motto of the trust is to establish more educational institutions with all facilities to achieve its goal.
