All staff members in ECE department are well qualified with postgraduate qualification specialized in the area of VLSI design, Communication Systems and Applied electronics Head of the department who is doing Ph.D has put more than 10 years of service in teaching field.We have well experienced laboratory instructors

All the above laboratories are equipped with sophisticated equipments, electronic instruments as per Anna University and AICTE norms
Achievements of staff:
ECE department has got dedicated staff members who are putting maximum effort to make the students achieve good results. Every 15 students are provided with one proctor staff member as care taker.Three technical articles have been published in popular technical journals such as Electronics for You, Plant Process Engineering.Staff members have participated in seminars, national conference and presented papers. Seven staff members have participated in a workshop program in the area of VLSI design.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the fast growing engineering branches. The curriculum and syllabus contains many important subjects like Digital image processing, Robotics, Neural Networks, ASIC Design, High performance communication networks, Low power VLSI design, Advanced Digital Signal Processing, Advanced digital system design, Advanced microprocessors and microcontroller,Computer architecture & parallel processing, Digital control Engineering, Embedded Systems, Analysis and design of analog integrated circuits,Microwave Engineering, optical communication & mobile communication.
